Diljit Dosanjh made history by selling over 1 lakh tickets within just 15 minutes during the pre-sale.
The highly successful ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour by Diljit Dosanjh has now arrived in India, sparking immense excitement among fans. According to Indian media reports, Delhi fans are awaiting the event, showcasing the great popularity of the Punjabi superstar. Tickets for the Delhi show sold out within just two minutes of the portal opening on Thursday. This rapid sell-out highlights how eagerly fans have waited for Diljit’s concerts.

Ticket Phases
The general ticket sales were made available for the public at 1 pm on Thursday. The silver category tickets were the cheapest, initially priced at Rs 1,499, while the most expensive ticket in the Fan Pit Phase II was sold for Rs 12,999. In Phase I, the Fan Pit ticket was available for Rs 9,999. The price of silver area tickets has since increased to Rs 1,999. Early Bird Discounts were available for those quick enough to grab them.
Interview details
In an interview with NDTV, Janamjai Sehgal, Business Head of Saregama India Ltd. and organizer of Diljit Dosanjh’s concert said, “We’ve already sold 1.5 lakh tickets. We are bound by venue limitations, and while there is enormous demand, due to the rules, regulations, and venue capacities, we’re expecting around 2 lakh people across 10 venues.”
He added, “On the first day of pre-sale, 8-10,000 transactions were made in a single minute. We sold 1 lakh tickets within 15 minutes. People are going to be surprised by the Delhi show. We’re doing one of the biggest setups that people in India have ever seen.”

For those who may not know, Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati’ India tour kicks off on October 26 in New Delhi. The tour continues to Hyderabad on November 15, Ahmedabad on November 17, Lucknow on November 22, Pune on November 24, Kolkata on November 30, Bengaluru on December 6, Indore on December 8, Chandigarh on December 14, and concludes in Guwahati on December 29.
