DUBAI: President Asif Ali Zardari was injured and had a fracture in his left leg, while he was coming out of a plane at Dubai airport last night, according to a spokesperson of the President’s House today.

Accident and Immediate Medical Attention

The spokesperson said that the president was taken to a nearby health facility for first aid while the doctors put a plaster cast on his leg after having him examined.

Zardari has been shifted to home and was advised by doctors to take a one-month break because of his plastered leg it said.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said he prayed for President Zardari to have a speedy recovery after the foot injury.

Earlier in September 2022, Zardari, who is also the co-chairman of the PPP, was rushed to a private ward in a hospital in Clifton, Karachi, for a lung infection.

Later in October 2007, the same former president was discharged from the hospital and then moved to Bilawal House in the metro.
